Selex has announced a further contract to supply 6,000 Personal Role Radios(PRRs)to the Canadian Army.

PRR replaces traditional hand signals and shouting which can be missed or misinterpreted. The radio unit is small, lightweight and unobtrusive, enabling messages to be relayed quickly and easily with low risk of detection.Crucial to the war-fighting role,a unique patented Wireless Press To Talk (PTT) switch allows individual section members to talk to others in the section without the need to let go of their weapon.
