Frequentis in Norway and international

Frequentis already has some important references in Norway, so the Austrian high-tech company is not really a newcomer in this country. Just last year Frequentis delivered to AVINOR an Area Control Centre in Bodø and a Tower-system for the Værnes Airport near Trondheim. Also the Norwegian Coastal Radio (Kystradio), operated by TELENOR Maritime Radio, is equipped with Control Room technology from Frequentis.

Public Safety Control Rooms connected to TETRA-technology Frequentis already delivered to several Public Safety organisations in the United Kingdom, like Lothian and Boarders Police near Edinburgh or the Metropolitan Police in London. But also in other countries Frequentis set up successfully TETRA Communication Centres, e.g. for the Olympic Games in Athens 2004 or – just in progress – in Doha, Qatar, for the Asian Games which took place in December 2006.
