Change in Management of R&S BICK Mobilfunk GmbH
Earlier this month, Heinz Bick, founder and longstanding President of R&S BICK Mobilfunk GmbH, handed over the reins to Dr Georg Haubs. As he had planned long ago, Bick retired from day-to-day operations at the age of 55 years. In future, he will advise the company strategic business orientation as a member of the administrative board.
R&S BICK Mobilfunk GmbH has become an expert player in recent years, especially by setting up nationwide TETRA networks. "We will continue to grow on an international scale and expand our product portfolio", explains Michael Vohrer, President & CEO of Rohde & Schwarz.
Bick's successor Dr Georg Haubs was most recently CTO Innovations at Nokia Siemens Networks. Prior to that, the physicist was head of business development at the American start-up company Unisphere Networks Inc. At Siemens AG Munich, he was business sector manager and held different managerial positions in product management, marketing, and sales.
